BOTANICAL GARDEN, Greater Noida

The BGIR – Botanical Garden of Indian Republic, being proposed at Noida was an international competition – for which our design was shortlisted in the first round of the competition in 2007.
The design of this destination project focused on showcasing the bio-diversity of different regions of the world and focussed on using the site’s natural topographical features to create a unique design character for this 200 acre park.
Designed as a major tourist attraction, the design aimed to create a monorail for people to visit different zones of the park each designed with the theme of the particular region. Special conservatories were also proposed to house bio-diversity of the temperate region and of tropical regions.
The design also showcases Indias own architectural style for creating the unique character for this world-destination project.
